I totally understand xD Normally, though, I'm the one asking, so maybe YOU should go for it? I mean, I know you want to see if he likes you enough to ask, but sometimes, you gotta go out on a limb for it.
Aww! It sounds like you really like him. Just do things friends wouldn't together and it'll lead on to other things. Hope that helped!
